Many patients around the world travel to Bangkok, Thailand to have cosmetic surgery with Dr. Somsak. Some patients come from neighbouring countries while many more from America or United Kingdom. The new airport , is about 30minutes away from the clinic. Our clinic will arrange for airport pickup and depending on your needs, we can arrange for a single night stay or for recovery involving 2 – 4 weeks.
Following surgery, many of our international patients stay overnight at our Kasemrad Hospital. International patients will typically stay in Bangkok anywhere from a few days to three weeks, depending on your surgery. The more extensive surgeries such as the body lift procedure or gender reassignment surgery, usually require at least 2 weeks stay in town. Some patients are not allowed to take long trips (which require you to sit for many hours) for the first week.
Dr. Somsak and our staff will make post operative visits to your recovery room. And when you are ready to be seen in the office, our staff will transport you to and from the office as a courtesy.
We will discuss your needs and help you select your hotel. Weekly hotel rates are as low as $450 per week. These rooms offer a fully equipped refrigerator, air-con, security. We recommend Traveller’s Hotel.
